Bois Farine is based on the Ruizia Cordata tree in the forest of coloured wood found on the island of Réunion. The tree’s tiny red flowers surprisingly have a starchy scent, redolent of flour. This scent is recreated through a clever olfactory illusion of dough like and nutty notes. Cedar, Gaiac and Sandalwood evoke the trees in this unique forest. Despite its gourmand and Proustian whimsy, Bois Farine remains minimalist and modern.
