Piment Brulant was inspired by the Aztec drink xocolatl, a bitter mixture of cacao, chili and spices. Legend has it that the emperor Montezuma drank up to 50 cups every day.
The anticipated fire of chili and cocoa is transformed into a fresh green scent. Piment Brulant is best described as sheer and summery. It is a perfect example of alchemy.
Decanted from a 2005 bottle of Piment Brulant by L’Artisan Parfumeur.
